Fulfillment Updates

Hey y'all,

Most of these rewards have shipped and the last few will be in the mail soon! There were a couple of errors that were brought to my attention regarding the post-campaign stretch goals that I wanted to follow up on.

1. There were a few goals that did not meet their order minimums and did not go into production (Berry Pie, Cottage, Mailbox, Rabbit Skull, and Fun Guy Fungi). Due to a survey formatting error on my side, folks were charged for these items when they should not have been. I have gone in and issued refunds to all effected backers, which should clear in 5-7 days. Thank you to the couple of backers that pointed this out.

2. Some of the backers who had purchased the Cottage add-on ended up receiving a butterfly specimen pin instead. This was because of a SKU mix up on my side. If you received a butterfly specimen pin you didn't order consider it a happy accident, enjoy the bonus pin!

3. A few backers have failed card payments from the campaign and/or pledge manager. Backers with unresolved payment issues have 90 days to fix them before I close the campaign. If you fix your payment please feel free to email me at [email protected] to let me know so that I can get to shipping things as they come in. My email inbox gets flooded daily with Backerkit automated reports and the odds of me missing something in them aren't low.

The Pins have Arrived!

Hey y'all,

Just wanted to share a quick update that the pins have arrived! Any of the post-campaign stretch goals that didn't meet their minimums have been removed from your carts (you won't be charged for them). They all look good and are in queue to grading and shipping once I get through some fulfillment work on my Southern Pride campaign. This project is currently on schedule and will likely be fulfilling a little earlier than originally promised.

Here are some quick photos of the pins. I took them in in the sun, so the lighting may be a bit harsh on some of the designs.

Stretch Goal and Personal Updates

Hey y'all,

I'm back from Book Con with a few project updates and some unfortunate personal news.

Unlocked Designs

We're currently at six unlocked designs for each collection, which feels like a great variety for the mystery blind bags! Remember, the only time you'll be able to choose individual pins from these collections is during the Backerkit campaign.

Unlocking Next

Thanks to everyone who voted in the polls, an unlock order for the rest of the designs has been determined! I've added a preview of the next few goals below, but make sure to check the campaign page for the entire list.



Some (sad) personal news...

I got the call Wednesday night, at the end of my trip to Book Con in NYC, that my father passed away unexpectedly after a decade of complex medical issues. He was a cheerleader for me in everything I did and will be deeply missed. I'll be doing my best to keep up with my current projects as planned, but grief is weird and these may be periods where my responses are delayed. Thank you for the understanding. ❤️

Hey y'all,

Thank you do everyone who supported this campaign on day one! We had a great launch and are already very close to unlocking our second stretch goal. This will be a short update since I'm busy preparing for BookCon in NYC this weekend.




There are two polls posted in the campaign's "Community" section to determine the unlock order of the remaining designs. Don't forget to cast your votes!
